I’m itching to get my mitts on the totally revamped N-Gage platform that’s hitting later in the year, especially with word of yet more top notch support - i-play has just piped up with news that it’s going to be creating games for N-Gage, debuting with skid-fest World Rally Championship.
It promises to be a proper stonker of a powerslide racer, especially if i-play employs all the Xbox Live-style global multiplayer, ranking and matchmaking that the new N-Gage platform is laying on the table. Only thing is, WRC is slated for a 2008 release, so it’s not going to tickle our thumbs alongside other launch titles such as System Rush (check out our video review of the demo).
Plus, with entertainment and gaming focussed phones such as the upcoming N81 on the horizon, the future of N-Gage is looking rosier than a sandpapered baboon’s derrière.
