Nokia has just leaked details of its new flagship London store, set to open in November. The new store will be within spitting distance of the world’s biggest Apple store and is a clear a sign as any that Nokia’s taking the fight right onto Apple’s doorstep.

In fact, by opening in November the store will be well placed to haul dozy iPhone punters in off the streets to buy a proper phone.

The brand new store is aiming to set a new benchmark for retailing (much like Apple tried to do), with its “upscale, high-energy environment” (a bit like Apple’s) the new Regent Street store (isn’t Apple’s store on Regent Street?) will provide world-class customer service (much like Apple does) and enable punters to test the latest Nokia mobile phones and multimedia computers.

Finally, something you can’t do in the Apple store. Get on down lads. Free NokNok.tv t-shirts for the first ones in the queue.

The store will be the eight Flagship store with another 10 planned over the coming months. The layout does look pretty amazing, and with a ton of tasty new kit on the way, we’ll definitely be heading down to get an eyeful of the new gear.
