In a nutshell…

The closest thing you’ll get to a console game on your mobile. Slick graphics ultra-realistic gameplay but loading times longer than the great wall of China.

Judgement time…

MotoGP is a stealth game. What looks, on the surface, like a quick blast of motorbike fun quickly turns into a time consuming hour-thief, especially if you play using career mode.

The game’s precise controls make for supreme gameplay, as it’s clear from the start that any mistakes, and conversely, any victories are purely your own. The graphics are top notch too. This game takes 3D graphics seriously, with hills and banks modelled unlike any other mobile racer.

On the down side, these advanced technologies take an age to load. We thought MotoGP had crashed during loading several times, before squinting at the progress bar to check it was still moving.

If you’re willing to stand the wait though, this game rocks. Not only is it a genuine challenge, but one that’s built to be beaten using skill, rather than blind perseverance or luck.

Check it out, but be warned it’ll chew up your free time, make you late for all your important meetings, and have you itching for an upgrade to the console version within days.
