Introducing.....The Nokia N810!

Nokia today lifted the wraps on its all-new Internet tablet and they’ve only gone and stuffed a van-load of new features into it’s tinchy frame. Touchscreen? Check! Sat nav? Check! WiFi? Check! Must be the all-new Nokia N810 then!

There’s still no sim card here, but there is plenty of new features to wet our wanton lips. The touchscreen is a plentiful 4-inch job and, if you’re not in the mood to use the slide-out keyboard, packs an onscreen keyboard for tapping in web addresses and the like.

The biggest add-on over previous models has to be the GPS receiver and pre-loaded maps. Wayfinder navigation though, is an optional extra - surely a massive oversight from the Nok peeps. On the plus side though, the N810 can take an (optional) 10GB memory card - enough to store 7,500 tracks and promises up to 45 hours of music playback.

All the Internet gubbins is on board so checking mail and websites out and about won’t be a problem (as long as you’re near a hotspot). Earthlink, The Cloud and Boingo Wireless are all supported though and Gizmo, Skype and Rhapsody are on board for video VoIP and music.

The N810 will be shipping before Christmas for the princely sum of £299. It’ll also be on show in the UK during the first week of November at the Best of Stuff Show.
