In a nutshell…

Turn your N95 into a portable photo lab, ready equipped to snap, edit and share photos without ever touching a PC! After all, the N95 packs a top-notch camera and killer software so why not make the most of it with these simple steps for successful snapping, editing and uploading!

Is it free?

Absolutely!

Sold! How do I do it?

Update your N95’s firmware through the PC Suite software included in the box. Nokia’s latest updates have made improvements to the cameras speed, so you’ll see a benefit in your snapping. If you want to see which firmware version your phone current uses, try installing Nokia Device Status.

Your N95 can edit photos after they’re taken, but you’ll need to duck out of the camera application and into the Gallery. Find your photo, tap ‘Options’ and choose ‘Edit’ then ‘Edit’ again. Next choose ‘Options’ and ‘Apply Effect’.

Here you can re-size images, remove redeye, rotate or crop the picture and add frames or clipart. As if that wasn’t enough, the N95 can add sepia tones, make a negative or turn your snapshot black and white.

After you’ve edited your picture, hit ‘Options’ and ‘Print’. Your phone will prepare the photo and look for a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB printer attached. Next thing you know, it’ll pop out on paper!

You can upload images to the web from your phone too. Just find them in the Gallery, hit ‘Options’ then scroll down to ‘Open Online Service’. Tap into it and you’ll see an option to add your Flickr account details. Feed them in and your phone can upload photos straight to the internet. If you want to upload to more destinations, such as Scoopt and BBC News, check out the ShoZu application.
