iTunes and iPhoto libraries transferred to your mobile – no messing! Get your hands on this now and you’re life will improve instantly. Honest!
Judgement time…
Nokia’s last version of Multimedia Transfer blew us away. Not only does it make syncing photos as easy as falling off a very slippery log, but essentially turns your mobile into an iPod too.
See, the clever software easily interprets Apple’s iLife libraries, before transferring the lot as files your phone can understand. There’s even the option to autofill your phone with random music, just like iTunes does with the iPod shuffle.
The new version adds several improvements and seems quicker than before. It also delivers full compatibility with Apple’s newest operating system, OS X Leopard, so it’s an essential download for early adopters.
As well as efficiency and speed increases, there are new options to adjust transcoding between your Mac and mobile. Tweak Multimedia Transfer’s settings and you’ll be able to make the software re-encode songs or re-size pictures. That means you’ll cram more in, without needing to manually re-format your library.
There’a also a new phone browser, so you can mooch through your mobile’s file structure to find files you want.
Overall it’s a nip and a tuck for some already svelte software. We’re glad to see Nokia’s resisting the urge to overcomplicate Multimedia Transfer by adding pointless extras or awkward functions. It’s already some of our favourite software from the big N, so all these improvements come with a huge recommendation from us. If you’ve got a Mac, download it. Now.
