Oh yes, now we’re cooking. Word reaches us from the N95 Blog about Space Invaders on your Nok, but instead of some joystick to keep your spaceship from being blotted, you simply wave your Nok from side to side. Genius.

See, this is one of the first games (the first surely, ed?) to use the N95’s accelerometer properly. It’s addictive, as any good blast of Space Invaders tends to be, and the marvel of what you’re actually doing doesn’t take long to come to light. The only beef, if we’re to throw one on the table would be the combination of motion and having to use the D-Pad to shoot. It just doesn’t seem totally right, but there isn’t really an alternative solution.

So far this makes three cool accelerometer-driven apps and there’s surely plenty more to come!
