Nokia’s latest PC package pulls in all the extra software for your Nseries, meaning less fumbling and more fun with your phone.
Judgement time...
Nokia’s extra apps are ace. There’s no two ways about it. Map Loader, Application Installer and all of the phone firm’s media management tools top the pile when it comes to mobile software. Until now, however, some of them have been separate downloads, and not immediately available to the bulk of Nok owners.
That’s all going to change when the next generation of PC Suite lands on your computer. It’s had a complete spankingly fresh makeover, bringing all the extras under one roof, along with a little bit of graphical sparkle.
The result is a much less disparate experience. Using the advanced features of your phone won’t feel like you’re cobbling together the pieces any more, just switching them on to create a customised all-in-one wonder machine.
This isn’t just an app package with a fancy menu though. Nokia have tarted up several apps, like Nokia Photos, Nseries Video Manager, and bundled a single-click connection app to help PC owners get online through their phone. The result is a slick package. All apps now share the same interface design, so the whole bundle feels unified. It’s a winning package, just itching to be downloaded.
Unfortunately, there’s still no sign of a version for Apple Mac owners, although Nokia are busy improving their Apple software so maybe that’s just around the corner. Until then, this slice of mobile joy’s the sole preserve of Windows users.
