Nokia's proper eco blower

The Nok is ramping up its eco credentials, first with news of the Pangea Day, then with the new 3110 Evolve and now this, the Eco Sensor.

Stuffed to the gills with various types of sensors, the Eco Sensor Concept is like a real version of Nokia’s “context” mantra - where knowing everything about where you are is the actual real meaning of life.

We love the look and feel of this puppy, though can’t ever see it making production. The centre piece of this concept is what you actually where, bascially trapping everything from the weather to your heartbeat (and no, you won’t have to take it off if you’re having a quick bit of ‘how’s yer father’ in the outdoors) before pinging the lot back to the main device for analysis ("captain, it looks like he’s been doing de business....").

Seriously though, the device also packs full environment monitoring, where properly dangerous things such as carbon monoxide would be picked up, triggering an alarm. Now, surely they could just build that in right now?

It’s high time we’ve seen a glimpse of what the boffins have been up to. Philips has been doing it for a while now, but Nok is the first phone company to show us the real exciting stuff. Well done the Nok!
