If you haven’t heard it already, you need to check out what Bob Iannucci, Nokia’s top tech dawg, has to say about Nok’s view on tech.

Bob reckons that Nokia and the other phone makers are where PCs were in the early eighties. Given what N-series blowers have on board, and what they’re capable of doing, he probably isn’t far off. Does that mean though that we’re a couple of years away from having two operating systems shine above everything else, one of which goes on to become de-facto and another which although superior, suffers from poor marketing (Google Android and S60 anyone?)

New to the job, Bob is quick to praise his R&D colleagues, which is nice. We’ve met a few of them and we reckon the Nok is like a Finnish Google - stuffed with really super clever people.
