Did you realise that the N95 could be used as a wireless games controller? Yep, the phone’s accelerometer means it can be employed Nintendo Wii-style as a steering wheel, light gun or joystick for your PC. There’s already an app called NiiMee out there now, and Darla Mack has posted a video clip of it in action – plus a link if you fancy giving it a whirl on your own blower.
Touch screen displays are one thing, but what about virtual keyboards that use your mobile’s camera and motion sensing capabilities to let you type out an email or SMS? And as an N95 user, I’ve got to say that sounds good.
The N95 Blog has just run a story entitled “25 must-have applications for your Nokia N95”, which gets a ten out of ten for us in terms of self-explanatory… ness. Anyway, there’s loads of useful apps listed here, so it’s well worth a look if you own one.
