Next-gen N-Gage getting Worms?
All About N-Gage has posted a video of what appears to be an N-Gage version of cartoon-strategy classic Worms. Worms was a big title on the original N-Gage, and its publisher THQ is signed up to release titles for the new version, so it makes a lot of sense – and its pace and simplicity make it the perfect game for multiplayer over Nokia’s new N-Gage Arena! Have a squiz at the video and see what’s in store.
All About Symbian has posted up a great little video clip showing off yet another clever use for the N95’s built-in accelerometer. RockNscroll uses this motion-detecting tech to navigate the N95’s menu screens, games and apps. It’s not available just yet, but check the demo to see what’s in store when it does launch.
The ever reliable Symbian Freak has managed to find some photos purporting to be of the successor to the E90. Are they the genuine article or big fat fakes? We don’t know. Take a look and see what you think.
Gizmo and Conversation apps updated
Nokia’s Beta Labs blog has revealed that the big N has taken some time out to update two of its apps: Gizmo (VoIP) and Conversation (SMS text threading). Both updates squish some bugs that were affecting performance, and the Gizmo update also adds support for multiple locations.
