Got an iPod speaker dock at home? Well, now you can stream music to it from your mobile, thanks to a clever new gizmo from Intempo.
See, the BTA-01 is a little Bluetooth audio unit that fits into the iPod docking port on your speaker system – essentially fooling the dock into thinking that there’s an iPod connected to it. Then your pair the BTA-01 with your Bluetooth-toting handset and you’re laughing. Or rather dancing around like a loon to whatever tune you’re wirelessly streaming to the speakers.
It’s available now for about £40, and will also work with Bluetooth-equipped laptops, desktop PCs and MP3 players. Handy if you want to use that iPod dock with more than just an iPod.
