All new Nokia 6220 Classic

Another stunning little device from the Nok, the all-new 6220 Classic packs a 5-megapixel snapper with autofocus and Xenon Flash.

Billed as a middle-of-the-road voice-centric blower, the 6220 is far from basic. With series60 inside and that tasty 5-megapixel camera, not to mention the glowing-good looks make for one hell of a smart blower.

What’s more, the 6220 comes with Nokia Maps 2.0 as standard, showing off satellite view although without any GPS functionality, it’s pretty limited in its usefulness.

All told though, this is a perfect little number for those looking for that little bit extra. And a bit of a looker too.

The Nokia 6220 classic is an attractive addition to the Nokia lineup, simply on the basis of so much eyebrow-raising smartphone functionality packed into such an unassuming body. The lack of Wi-Fi, which will scrub it off some buyers’ shortlists, however, and that squeeky plastic casing with cheap-feel buttons does little to reflect the high quality nature of the features inside. I also hope Nokia updates the firmware soon to speed up its laid-back S60 user interface – its nicely presented, but a touch slow to respond.
