Nokia was the first to bring sat nav to the masses and with its all new 6210 navigator, it’s going a step further. Sporting the new Maps 2.0 app, this tasty little wayfinder is stunning looking device with some top specs to boot.
This is the first Nok to make series use of the accelerometer built in with a “flip-silent” function (turn the phone over to stop an incoming call) and excellent orientation for your Nav action. You’ll find two navigation profiles on board too - ‘drive’ and ‘walk’ - to make getting around that bit easier.
This is also the first device to sport a compass, so when you flick Nav on you’ll instantly know where to go. Genius. The camera is a 3.2-megapixel number with dual LED flash and autofocus. This device will also be one of the first to plug into Share on Ovi and you can geotag your snaps out of the box.
Storage comes from microSD and you get a 1GB card in the box, expandable up to 8GB. We can expect to see it in late summer this year.
Verdict: Don’t fancy a full on N-series but need some serious navi-action? Bag this baby.
