Over at All About Symbian there’s a piece that’ll interest frag-happy gamers everywhere: first person shooter classic Quake has been brought to 3D accelerated Nokias. Got an N95, N82 or E90? Mobile phone projectors coming “this year”
Yep, that’s the word on the street. In fact, that’s coming straight from the horse’s mouth: Texas Instruments has announced that its Pico microprojectors are now in production and should start appearing in mobile devices later this year. These tiny DLP projectors will allow you to chuck photos and videos onto a wall or screen directly from your mobile, which is clearly incredibly cool. Nice as the N95 8GB’s 2.8-inch screen is, wouldn’t you rather be watching that video blown up to 25 inches?
