How to turn your E90 into the ultimate mobile movie jukebox

What’s the point?

That monster-screened mobile isn’t just good for business, it’ll act as a widescreen cinema in your pocket too…

Is it free?

Completely.

Sold! How do I do it?

Step 1:

DivX’s mobile player is perfectly safe, but your E90 might complain about its certificate. Side-step the problem by tapping into the ‘Applications’ menu, then loading the ‘Application manager’. Choose ‘Options’ followed by ‘Settings’ then change ‘Software installation’ to ‘All’.

Step 2:

Next, tap into your phone’s web browser and go to http://mobile.divx.com. Sign in (you may have to register at http://www.divx.com first) and download DivX Player for Symbian S60 v3. It’ll install automatically.

Step 3:

Transfer your DivX files to the E90 using a USB cable. Don’t be tempted to load them using Bluetooth, as they’ll be too large, and take too long. Once they’re loaded, fire up the DivX Player from your phone’s ‘Applications’ menu, click on the movie file you want and watch it load.

Step 4:

Tap into the options screen, or tweak DivX’s settings to watch in full screen. The software will work using the E90’s large interior screen, or smaller external version - it’s not fussy!

Its a good player same like smart movie player but difference is its totally free.
But for AVI files its a disappointment for me as avi is not playing smoothly on my E90.it plays with little jerks… i’ve also tried coreplayer which is yet another great player and smartmovie but finds no luck. none of them plays it well. still looking for the perfect one for E90.
