The Nok is about to pop up on your gogglebox with a live music show called The Nokia Green Room. It’s got Girls Aloud on it and everything!
The show will start its run on Channel 4 in April, with the first instalment including live bits from (yes) Girls Aloud and The Feeling, plus “reality-style” behind-the-scenes footage using hidden cameras and microphones in the green room (hence the name). But you can’t watch it all on regular telly, and some bits will only be available via the Nokia Music Store. We’re not yet sure whether or not this bonus content will be free, but our gut tells us it will be - Nokia obviously sees the show as a good way to get people checking out and downloading from the Music Store, so giving them their first fix for free makes sense.
