Right now, bastardizing your Nokia blower with precious metals and sparkly gems seems to be the way to steal yourself some ambassador’s ball exclusivity. We’ve already seen the E90 encrusted in diamonds and slapped with a £40,000 price tag, well now it’s the turn of the 8800 Arte handset to receive the bling treatment.
As if the Arte phone series wasn’t luxury enough, Goldstriker International can rustle up a 24 carat Firefox edition, peppered with white diamonds. A price for this has yet to be announced but Goldstriker also do a 24 carat Platinum model for £1,079.95, so expect a similar wallet-haemorrhaging asking price.
Of course, mere mortals can’t afford such extravagance but if you’re busting to own a deluxe shiny Nokia handset, then Goldstriker also plate up handsets like the 6300, 6500 Classic, 8600 Luna and 7900 Prism in gold and platinum, with prices starting at £269.95. Now that’s a more bank manager-friendly outlay.
