What if we had a phone that worked as well for a money man on wall street as it does for tribesman in Africa? They both live in utterly different worlds and speak and read entirely different languages, but Nokia is working on a device that could work perfectly for both. Starting with the fact that one in five people in the world can’t read or write, designers in the Future Product Design team have come up with a concept centred on three Human Universals: Lists, Time and Faces. The concept is brilliantly simple with every action that takes place on the phone being recorded and stored in an almost endless list - at the top is the latest, at the bottom is the very first.
