With the countdown clock ticking for the launch of Nokia’s all-you-can-eat Comes With Music service it’s just announced that Warner Music has joined the party. That means you can now expect tracks from the likes of REM, Muse and Madonna. Oh and Phil Collins.
Warner has joined Universal and Sony BMG, which means that three of the big four music labels are now onboard and it’s just EMI that’s proving to be the party pooper. Warner has also signed up to make its tracks available through the Nokia Music Store as well. Comes With Music is set to launch in the second half of the year.
Technically the second half of 2008 starts today, but runs all the way up until Christmas so it still could be sometime before we can actually get our mitts on some of those Comes With Music handsets and gorge ourselves silly on a year’s worth of free music.
