Desperate to see what the next version of S60 will look like once Nokia finally launches some touch sensitive phones? A screenshot that claims to show the new touch enabled interface has emerged, giving a glimpse of what the next gen OS might resemble.

According to Mobile Royale the screenshot shot shows the S60 5th Edition UI - also known as S60 Touch UI. The shot wasn’t taken on actual device, but came from the Carbide UI theme designer instead.

As you can see, it’s been designed with prodding in mind and the big buttons at the top should be easy to hit whether you’re using a stylus or just your pinkies. The screen shot is also VGA resolution (480x640) so it could signal that Nokia’s getting ready up the res of its devices.
