Yes, apparently there are other phones out there - who knew? HTC managed to generate a small whirlwind of hype surrounding its HTC Touch Diamond and Apple didn’t do all that badly with the iPhone 3G, but how do they stack up at real world tasks when face with a trusty N95 8GB?

That was the important question that All About Symbian set out to solve, putting the three super phones through no less than 12 gruelling tasks to see how they fared against one another.

The results are surprising - for example did you know you can take a 5 megapixel snap and email it off in 33 seconds from starting the camera to finishing sending on the N95? The iPhone beats the time, but it was penalised heavily for resizing the 2 megapixel pic to a paltry 0.3 megapixel before sending it on its way.
