Nokia has given the mobile part of its Share on Ovi service a nip and a tuck and the new look now focuses on highlighting what your contacts have been up to while you’ve been away. You can now see at a glance any of your friends’ latest snaps and even upload and share your own stuff straight from the mobile site.

Available at share.ovi.com/mobile the revamped site shows your latest uploads, followed by those of your contacts. You can now create channels and organise your media straight from your handset.

SMS support has also been beefed up - you can sign up just using text message rather than email and you can get notifications about recent goings on via SMS too.

Nokia is also previewing an alpha version of a new Share on Ovi Facebook app, so you can integrate your media with the social networking site. Features include the ability to post entire channels as a slideshow and upload mobile snaps straight to Facebook.
