After months of spy snaps, leaked features, specification documents, rumours, hearsay and whispers Nokia’s newest Nseries has finally arrived, promising the ultimate in entertainment combining gaming, music and movies in one sleek little package.
Face first you’ve got a 2.6in OLED display, so whatever you’re staring at onscreen will look fantastic. To get you going on the games front, you’ll find at least ten N-Gage titles preloaded from the off, so you can get stuck straight in using the dedicated gaming keys. Once you’ve had a bit of a play around, the best bit is you’ll be able to keep one for free.
It comes packing a decent 5 megapixel snapper so you can take high res shots or capture yourself a bit of DVD quality video. As it’s also got A-GPS built in, you can geotag your photos so you’ll know exactly where each one was taken.
In the box you’ll find an 8GB microSD card, so you’ll have oodles of space for storing tunes to listen to on the go. As you’d expect, there’s a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use your favourite cans and there’s also a built in FM transmitter so you can hook it up to your car stereo without having to do the dongle shuffle.
For a quick rundown of the features, take a squiz at the video below, or head on over to Nokia’s N85 product page for the full skinny. The N85 is expected in October for €450 before the mobile networks cut the price down considerably with their tempting offers.
