It’s been a busy week for Nokia, but it’s still found time to update its Ovi portal and it’s even added a couple of new features. Perhaps the most interesting is the new sync service that lets you wirelessly synchronise your calendar and contacts so you’ve always got an online backup should anything happen to your phone.
Setup is pretty simple - just sign up for a Nokia Account if you haven’t already got one and then login on the Sync on Ovi service. Then just follow the simple instructions to get your handset up and running.
Once it’s all ready to roll, you’ll be able to ensure you’ve always got an up to date backup of all your contacts and even edit your phonebook entries online and then sync any changes back to your phone.
