There is no word on whether there’ll even be an N97, but that hasn’t stopped the cheeky cloners digging through the patent documents and producing what they think it will look like. Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but this is pushing it to its limit.

According to what very slim details are known about the device so far, the N97 should pack an 8 megapixel snapper and it goes by the code name of the CECT K898.

This cloned model has apparently been put together from patent documents, so the real N97 - if it’s ever released - could look completely different. It does bear a resemblance to this patent filing, which was thought to be the N85, although we obviously now know that’s not the case.
