So our last best guess about when we might be seeing Nok's touchy feely handset was somewhere around 8 October , but the latest internet rumours are pegging it almost a week earlier at 2 October.

The theory runs something like this: Nokia already has an event planned for 2 October, which is most likely for Comes With Music . By adding in the Tube as well, it'll be better all round and also give it time to get it in the shops before Christmas.

It all sounds pretty realisitic to us - and if Nokia doesn't start shipping it out pretty soon then it's going to miss getting it into customers' hands before the year is out, which it pretty much promised back in May . Plus, what with all the other touchscreens out there now, Nokia can hardly hang about on this so the earlier the better really.
