Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to be exclusive to Orange?

The 5800 XpressMusic - worth switching for?If you're anything like us, you're itching to get your hands on Nokia's new touchscreen music master when it lands in UKs-ville in early 2009. But there's some bad news for Vodafone, O2 and T-Mobile customers: it seems the 5800 is going to be exclusive to Orange.

The news comes courtesy of The Guardian's technology blog rather than from Nokia or Orange themselves, so it's not 100 percent official just yet.

Still, it's certainly a respectable, credible source, so we'll assume it's accurate until we hear otherwise. So, non-Orange customers: would you be willing to switch in order to bag a 5800? Does its finger-friendly screen and all-you-can-eat Comes with Music download service warrant a change? Let us know in the comments section below.

    Hi all,

I would rely like the new nokia 5800 but i am with o2 and as my credit rating is not so good I don’t think it will be possible to move to a orange contract because of this.

Also i think this is a good demonstration of nokia copying apple with the hole o2 orange thing. If nokia do go with orange then i will have no choice but to get a iphone for my next phone as that will be only good phone i can get.

plzzzzzzzzz Nokia don’t just go with orange
