Nokia Maps Navigation available over the counter at Phones 4u

If you've got a GPS-equipped Nokia phone and are thinking about getting Nokia Maps Navigation, you can now stroll down to your local Phones 4u emporium and grab it over the counter.

The high street mobile shop is the first retailer to offer the Maps upgrade in this way (it was previously only available to buy through your Nokia phone itself), and we guess it'll appeal to Nok-users who have an aversion to using their credit card online - or possibly don't have a credit card at all.

You can buy a license for either a month (£6.99) or a year (£54.99), and it enables you to use the service's pretty decent navigation, which can be tailored both for in-car and on-foot use. You can read our review of Nokia Maps 2.0 here.
