As we've known for ages, the touchtastic 5800 XpressMusic is just the first in what will be a long line of tactile Noks. It's just a matter of time (and speculation) until another one pops off the production line.

And we so want to believe that the Nseries will be latest to get the touch treatment. As if answering our prayers, official confirmation has come all the way from India that yes - there will be a touch sensitive Nseries and that it will be with us soon. Very soon, in fact.

Cellpassion reported that during an event in New Delhi Devinder Kishore, Nokia India’s Director of Marketing, said: “We will have lots of touchscreen phones coming up, including an Nseries device very soon.”

Unwired View even went so far as to call N97 as the most likely name and create a mock up image for us to gaze upon. Frankly we don't care what it's called, we just wanted it. Now. Or at the least, very soon.
