Comes With Music not limited to 120 downloads - or any number in fact

Despite reports to the contrary, which are based on bad maths and sketchy interpretations at best, there is no specific limit on the number of tracks you can download for free from Comes With Music.

We've managed to get word from deep inside Nokia that there is definitely no set limit on the number of tunes you can pull down from the service.

Yes, there are provisos set out in the Abusive Use Policy - which is a much more open name than a fair usage policy. This states:

"Your licence to download Comes With Music Content is limited to your personal non-commercial and reasonable use. If our analysis of your use of the Service suggests abusive or excessive downloading, Nokia may contact you and ask you to moderate your usage. If you fail to comply with such a request, Nokia reserves the right to restrict or terminate your use of the Service."

So if you tried to download everything on there - just for fun - or were setting up your own mobile disco off the back off it, then you may get a letter from Nokia. But if you just use it normally then you'll be fine. Everyday users won't even need to think about it. Glad we've got that cleared up - we're off to download another 1,000 tracks now.
