Nokia could be set to revamp two PC apps this weekend, if the clues spotted by some intrepid internet users turn out to be true.

One lucky user of the Symbian Guru forums happened to stumble upon not just an updated v1.1 release of Nokia's Ovi Suite but also a revamped PC Download! app as well. These were apparently found sitting on the CD that arrived with a brand new N85 handset.

It's not yet clear exactly what has changed, but the new Ovi software now apparently supports more handsets - like the E51. The new Download! app also updates the phone version and adds the ability to search for specific apps.

The Download! app is also warning users that the system will be down 8-9 November for a major overhaul - that's this Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully that means Nokia will be rolling out these updates then and we can all take advantage of them.
