Soon, empty-bellied travellers won't have to open up their mobile phone's web browser to locate a nearby eaterie - they'll be able to use their 5800 XpressMusic and the free fonefood widget to find some suitable scran in seconds.

The widget, designed by the good folk at Lastminute.com, allows users to quickly search for and book restaurants using their 5800. A few taps of the touchscreen are all that's required.

Over 6,000 establishments spread throughout twelve countries (including the UK) are covered, with full descriptions and map directions included. Any discounts and special promotions are also detailed. Find one you like the sound of and you can book it direct from the widget for no charge; confirmation comes courtesy of an SMS message.
