N.B. The the TV licencing authorities DO attempt to make you believe otherwise, i.e. that you need a licence to own TV-receiving/recording apparatus and to watch ANY TV broadcasts. This is NOT the case in law!! Legally you are only required to have a valid TV licence in the UK if you watch LIVE broadcasts… the BBC iPlayer does not come under this category… yet.

The size and weight is just right in the hand. Keep a bluetooth keyboard in you bag for the heavy typing should the need arise with the 5800 propped up on its stand. The 5800 display is really bright and the audio quality top notch. With BBC IPlayer on it as well working seamlessly. Just some flaws in the firmware to sort out... I’m delighted with my 5800.
