Nokia Messaging goes live!

The Nokia Phone Blog has been taking a look at Nokia Messaging, which it considers an app of two parts – ‘one part service, one part email client’ – which is quite right. After a quick run through, his verdict is that it’s quicker than the built-in mail client and well worth getting a hold of. That's especially true while it’s still a free download, as his main fear is that it will soon cost. Check out his findings here.

Handwriting Calculator on your Nok

Applications don’t always come fully formed from the test labs and so it is with Handwriting Calculator, as the guys over at the Nokia Beta Labs have been getting around to answering user feedback. One of the big problems has been an ‘expired certificate’ flashing up when installing on the Nokia 5800. There is a quick answer to this one and it involves a quick update. You find the facts over here.

Things to hate on the Nokia N79?

After getting us excited about the great things to look out for in the Nokia N79, the Symbian Guru has decided to plays devil’s advocate and point out a few things not quite ticking the love-o-meter. Surely, some mishtake, you’d think? And you’d be right as he can only find FOUR things not to love, one of them being the lens cover! You can find the full grump-list here.

Hit the Asphalt jungle

We all like kicking back with a game or two but one that looks like it may well have you on the edge of your seat is Asphalt 4 Elite and the S60 blog has gone and got themselves a sneak-peak at this new racing game. Sadly, they’ve not managed to play the game but there is a link to a great looking video. Get into gam mode over here.
