How’s does this saving the planet thing work exactly? Well, the Nokia N79 Eco model doesn’t come with a charger in the box, which means less waste. It also means they can put it in a smaller box, so less of a carbon footprint to stomp around with.

The idea is that this phone is for those who already own a Nok and are quite happy re-using the charger with their new phone.
