Got an N-Series Nok? Toting a tilting accelerometer inside it? Take advantage of the motion sensor silliness it offers with these top accelerometer games for Nokia.
We've slipped, bashed and flung our phones around to whittle the list down, but if you disagree with any of these, just shout up in the comments below.
There's a few tilting games for the N96 and 5800 XpressMusic on the way, but the games below are for the Nokia N95, N95 8GB or N82. Note that if you're running any of these on a Nokia N95, you may need to install the Nokia N95 Accelerometer Plugin Package to get these working - you can find a direct link to it here.
You either had one of these as a kid or saw them in museums and craft shops growing up, but either way, having a virtual maze inside your Nokia will keep you maddeningly distracted no matter how old you are. Tilt the ball around the maze whilst dodging the holes, and who knows, maybe a version of Screwball Scramble for Nokia will be ready by the time you finish it.
The grand-daddy of them all. While it's not aged well, no one of a certain age will not be able to think about this game and not get misty-eyed. While this version has an appalling name, it has a compulsive concept: old school Space Invaders on your mobile, only you tilt to slide your ship from side to side as you fire at the worryingly perpendicular aliens headed towards you.
The original N-Gage had Super Monkey Ball on it, and while that's screaming out for an N-Series port, we'll make do with this absurd 3D game, which sees you rolling a panda through the countryside with goggles on. Don't ask, just play.
Another children's toy turned tilting game. Once again, you've got to guide the ball bearings around the course, on pain of death by falling through a hole and having to start again. At times there seems like there is no rhyme of reason to this game, but you'll still find yourself playing it, just don't try it when on the train.
If you don't know what Snake is, you clearly haven't bought a Nokia mobile phone in the last two centuries or so. This homage to the apple gobbling game sees you twisting and turning your handset to stop the snake from hitting the wall and watching it fatten on fruit until there's no space left on screen.
