Every day we take a look around your Nokia community, sifting out the hot topics and the things that concern NokHeads the world over.

Today we’re looking at the Nokia N97 design and style with Axel Meyer, the concept of Image Space with the Nokia Research Center guys, as well as asking all Nokia developers to get involved with the Mobile World Congress conference.

These are the best stories from the last 24 hours in one handy breakfast-bar sized piece we like to call Back From The Blog….

N97 design talk

While we were getting up close with the design team of the Nokai 5800, the Innovations Newsdesk has been taking the same tack but with the upcoming Nokia N97, talking to Axel Meyer, Head of Design at Nokia Nseries. You can see what he has to say about design and what we can expect from Nokia’s next Big Thing, over here.

Nokia in space?

Over at Nokia Conversations they’ve been looking at location based services and how the Nokia Research Center is playing with the idea of ‘contextual photo sharing with some smart new features including the ability to automatically filter photos’. There is even video footage of Nokia Image Space up and running, so you can see what the next big thing in community imaging could well be.  Run VT.

World in pictures

While we’re on the subject of photos, the Symbian Stories has been getting all snapper with their Nok phones and leading with a story about blogging in photos. With every Nok now packing in a pixel-pumping camera, it makes perfect sense to start telling stories in picture form only. It’s early days for the site yet but you can get involved over here.

Calling all developers

Mobile World Congress this year is taking place in Barcelona (16-19 Feb) and the Symbian Developer Network is looking to host the best apps and tools on its stand. Over on The Symbian Blog they’re looking for people to get involved. It’s not just you chance to get your skills seen but you can receive two free passes, worth €599 each, as well as two tickets to the Symbian Foundation party. Developers click here.
