The Nokia E75 could well be about to get its first public airing at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. With just three weeks to go until the annual mobile phone love-in starts, it’s looking like one of the hardware highlights from Nokia will be the delightfully multi-purpose Nokia E75.
OK, so it’s not rocking the same sweet-spots as the Nokia 5800 or Nokia N97, for one thing it hasn’t got a touchscreen and, well, the look is a little plain. However, this still looks like a perfectly usable handset and a great running partner for the Nokia E71.
The Nokia E75 is likely to be something of a business workhorse, with its combination of 2.8-inch screen (QVGA resolution) and candybar looks to the top. Meanwhile, the slide out QWERTY keyboard offers plenty of opportunities for those who need to write something a little heftier than the odd text.
The quad-band phone will naturally tack along at a fair ol’clip using HSDPA and we can expect the current crop of Nokia services to come bundled with the device as standard. SO we can expect the S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2
When it comes to extras, there is the now standard 3.2-megapixel camera, Wi-FI as well as Bluetooth allowing you to connect with your laptop whenever you need to sync them up.
We’ve no officially word on release date or likely pricing, so it’s mere speculation at this point whether it’s a bridging gap between the Nokia N97 or whether this is a standalone device on its own right.
It seems we’ll have to wait until MWC, or do you? What do you think about the Nokia E75, is it more interesting than the N97, or will it simply be budget business choice for corporates? Let us know in the Comments below.
