Friday is here and the Nokia News Roundup has been busy looking at the blogs and sites covering the best Nok-related action. Today, we’re looking at the Nokia Netbook and what could be the world’s most-deserced converged device. Then there is the uber-limited Nokai 8800 Royal Edition, which gets a release this weekend but only in Paris. If that’s not enough, gossip on the Nokia N97 is also gathering pace.
No matter what your interest in Nokia, get all the full-fat facts with your breakfast from the last 24 hours in one handy breakfast-bar sized piece we like to call Back From The Blog…
Nokia Netbook gathering steam?
It seems we’re not the only ones excited at the prospect of a potential Nokia Netbook, as over at the Last 100 blog, they’ve picked up the gauntlet we threw down, found it to their liking and looked at what any potential Nok-Net could or would look like. Check out their thoughts here.
Does this Nok get Royal approval?
Bling is in town this week, what with the A-list launch of the 5800, and so it goes with the Nokia 8800 Royal Edition. Nokia N97 neigh sayers assemble
It was only a matter of time before the Nokia N97 came in for something of a knocking. Over at Mobile Mentalism they’re getting worried that the keyboard won’t be up to snuff, not that they’ve seen or used it yet. Is this a case of panic mongering or do they have a valid point, check out the concerns over here.
Now, we know Nokia isn’t afraid to innovate, just look at how much tech was crammed into yesterday’s phone announcements and they’re just everyday phones. So, it comes as no surprise there were well over 1000 entrants into Nokia Calling All Innovators global mobile developer contest. They asked them to generate applications and solutions that would help to improve the quality of life on the planet. Well, the 11 finalists have been name-checked and Daily Connect has gotten behind the story here.
