The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic handset has been announced and is a super-slim multimedia phone that's been put together with music, movies and games in mind.

Just when you thought that Nokia was saving all its toys for Mobile World Congress next week, the Nokia 5630, which expands the XpressMusic with the slimmest device in the range yet, lands straight in our laps. What does it offer, well join us after the jump...

The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic is very much a mainstream multimedia device that is expected to cost 199 Euros (around £180) when it ships in the second quarter of this year.

The phone is Comes With Music, Nokia's own music download and keep service, compatible, and also has a neat little feature called ‘Say and Play’, which allows you to say the name of an artist or song and have it automatically queued up to play.

The phone looks amazing, and is slim and stylish to say the least. It weighs in at just 83g, making it the most compact Comes With Music phone yet. It'll be available in three colours – blue, red or silver. The 2.2-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) with up to 16 million colours.

Connectivity comes courtesy of HSDPA, with a maximum download speed of  10.2Mbps, GSM GPRS/EGPRS, as well as standard 802.11g and Bluetooth for more localised connections.

Other features include a 3.2-megapixel camera comes with 4x digital zoom and dual-LED flash, as well as a secondary camera for video capture and conferencing. Naturally, this is all backed with online sharing via Share on Ovi. Memory consists of 150MB internal memory, with  support for up to 16GB microSD memory card. A 4GB memory card is thrown in the box to get you up and running.

So, what do you think? Since we got wind of this little number all we can think about is 'something for the weekend', as it's got playtime written all over it. The Nokia 5630 XpressMusic looks like an exciting development, mixing a great design with a host of top Nokia services, the result being one great little knock-about Nok.
