The Nokia 6720 classic has been announced at Mobile World Congress and brings a little S60 magic to the ‘classic’ lineup.

f you’re looking for a Nokia handset that looks more like a standard phone but still delivers all the smartphone action we’ve come to expect, the Nokia 6720 classic is the device for you.

The Nokia 6720 classic is a S60 3rd Edition phone that manages to pack some great key features into its slim and slender 110g device. Measuring just 110 x 45 x 14 mm, this candybar design looks striking in silver and with a curve that’s been designed for perfect hand to face action, this is a mighty neat looking phone.

What we like most about this phone is that it’s N-Gage compatible, so we get to play games on the 2.2-inch screen (240 x 320 pixels). The display sits above a good-sized keypad and the phone packs in a host of top-notch features. There is a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and full video support. What’s more, it also works with Share on Ovi, so you can make the most of all your media by sharing them with friends and family.

Obviously, multimedia needs a quick connection and the Nokia 6720 classic is fast, with HSDPA/HSUPA support, so data connections for super-quick web browsing comes as standard.

GPS even comes built-in as standard, with Nokia Maps 3.0 and integrated A-GPS, City compass, map rotation coming as standard and pre-installed maps on the microSD card. You’ll find 50MB of internal memory and the phone handles 8GB microSD cards with ease.

The Nokia 6720 classic looks like being a mix of style, sophistication and power, we’d love to know what you think?
