With Twitter grabbing the headlines the world over it seem we're all gone micro-blogging mad. No more so, than in the Nokia community, as another Twitter app has surfaced. Yesterday we looked at Stew for the Nokia 5800 while today, Gravity has been developed for S60 3rd Edition devices.
This app is still in the beta stage so hasn’t been released to the public yet but the Symbian Guru has been taking a look at the app and found it to be ‘excellent’.
This is the lead story hitting the Nokia neighbourhood this morning. Other stories of interest include, the Nokia E75 with a touchscreen, and the side-by-side with the Nokia N85. You can read more about Gravity for Twitter and these other stories after the jump…Nokia N86 8MP
The Symbian Guru has got the heads-up on a new Twitter app for all S60 3rd Edition devices, which means anything from the N79 through to the E63. It’s expected that a version for 5th Edition devices, that’s the likes of the 5800 and Nokia N97 will be coming down the pipe shortly. From the test, the Guru has found usability to be really smooth and Gravity easy to handle. If there is one problem, it’s ‘The only thing missing, really, is a search tab, where I could specify a keyword(s) to search for.’
Gravity for S60 devices is still in development and only open to a small group of testers but if you’re interested in keeping tabs on this handy little app, you can get information from the Mobileways.de website.
Nokia N86 8MP side-by-side with the Nokia N85
Is the Nokia N86 8MP just a slight upgrade of the Nokia N85 or is it really worth the new numbering system? This is the question they’re asking over at All About Symbian. The chaps have taken a deep-level look at the differences between the Nokia N86 8MP and the N85, which it is replacing and found quite a few marked differences, leading them to believe the Nokia N86 8MP is worthy of the name update. Check out the Nokia N86 8MP side-by-side with the Nokia N85.
Here’s a quick one from the Nseries blog. They’ve taken a look at the Nokia E75 and feel that it doesn’t quite hit he mark. While they think it’s little more than the E71 in a new outfit, they have a handy solution that would have solved the problem of why they don’t like it that much - what they really wanted to see was a touchscreen attached. They’ve even put together a mockup of what the Nokia E75 would possibly have looked like with a touchscreen. What do you think, should the Nokia E75 have been a little more touchie-feelie, or do you like what Nokia has done with this device?
