Today is Red Nose Day when people dress up, sit in bathes of their own devising and generally pretend the world is some Pythonesque socio-experiment for 24 hours, all in the name of charity.
We’re not about to tell you what we’re sat in as we write this, other than to say it squelches occasionally, but we will get into the swing of things and suggest that today is the day your Nokia sees red…
The Nokia 5800 is the phone of the moment and what's more, it’s red styling was the first Nok to hit the shops. It’s the perfect device for celebrating Red Nose day, as it's all about fun.

This QWERTY smartphone has a great slide-design, which is something you’re not going to see every day of the week. If you want to video Red Noise day, you can using the 640 x 480 video camera at 30 frames per second. Well, you could if you had a time machine, zipped to the future and brought this smartie-pants back as it’s not officially on-sale yet.
Announced this week, the stunning looking Nokia 5370 XpressMusic is another phone we won’t be able to use for Red Nose day. In some respects it’s a funky-fresh take on the E75, which comes with retro- dot-matrix letters and definitely doesn’t take itself too seriously. Being a movie and music phone, it’s designed to be showy and make a noise for itself, perfect for livening up the day.
While the Nokia E71 has been known to dress in red in some countries, it left to the Nokia E63 Red to get into the spirit of the day. This smartphone is all about getting the message out there. Perfect for spreading the word about the many good causes Red Nose gets involved in. You can write up your reports on the day using the QWERTY keyboard or simply text all the world leaders telling them to get their acts together and ban world poverty.
