When Nokia announced that it would be opening the doors of Ovi Store this May, we knew the days for Mosh were numbered.

Sure, it's not the most user-friendly site in the world but it was always good to dip in and get the odd app.

It may be gone but it won't be forgotten as the best aspects of Mosh will no doubt be an integral part of Ovi Store, along with other key services we've come to know and love.

Making way for Ovi Store is well underway and the news that Mosh is to close its doors. Sure, it could be an awkward beast at times but it was an integral part of getting to grips with your Nok. It clear it's not gone for good, as it would make sense to take the best parts of the service and use them in Ovi Store.

We'll also see the best bits of  Widsets and Download!, which will also come under the Ovi Store umbrella. We're really looking forward to the store opening up. We should start to get a real feel for the new site in the next few weeks as the developers summit is set to take place on the 28-29th April and one of the main topics for developers will be how Ovi Store works and how developers, and users for that matter, will be able to make the most of the site.
