It’s been another busy week for the update team at Nokia. Earlier in the week Nokia E71 users got an update, taking it to firmware version of that device to v210.21.006.
Now, the Nokia E66 gets the same treatment here in Europe, taking the firmware to version v210.21.007. This is the first update for the little Nok since November last year, so offers plenty of updates and adds to the overall stability of the device.
The Nokia E66 seems to be another one of those smartphones that just works, largely because it just gets the job done. The proof of this is in the fact that it's taken close to six months for an update to the firmware to be needed.
Now, the Nokia E66 gets a refresh, taking the firmware to version v210.21.007. Sadly, we've not got our hands on a changelog yet (if you have then let us know).
The update is for European devices only and will be rolled out across the next few days. Keep an eye on the Nokia Software Updater in your region.
It’s worth remembering that the Nokia E66 doesn’t come with UDP (User Data Preservation), so you’ll need to back up all your files and data before starting any firmware update.
You can get hold of the update from the Nokia Software Updater.
