Last week Nokia released a great demo video for the Nokia N97 that showed what people wanted from a top-end Nok and how Nokia has met that challenge head-on.
Now comes a similar video for the Nokia 6710 Navigator, which goes some way to explaining the appeal of the Nav-Nok voted the fifth most desirable handset of 2009.
The Nokia 6710 Navigator is a S60 3rd Edition phone that makes the most of its 2.6-inch QVGA screen. The display is all about getting the most information on screen possible, so you can make the most of Nokia Maps and the built-in GPS chispet. There is even a dedicated navigation button, so you can instantly pull up the navigation tools - something you won't find on most phones.
The slider phone only weighs 117g, so it's not even a burden in the pocket. Add to this a 5-megapixel camera that can be used to take snaps of the location you're in and geo-tagged for future reference and you've one hell of a powerful phone.
To show off all these neat features, Nokia has released this great looking promo video showing off the navigation aspects of its name in an interesting and novel way.
When you think this handset will sell for around 245 Euros when it launches later this summer, you can see why it easily made our Top Five smartphones of 2009.
