As we become more mobile in all aspects of our life, we have to realise this is having an impact on the environment and one of the ways Nokia is helping highlight this is with the Green Explorer campaign, which helps to highlight more sustainable and greener ways to get from A to B.

The site offers a hosts of tips and travel advice, such as reducing car emissions to even turned the air conditioning down in your hotel room. Simple tricks and tips that make a real difference in an every changing world seems to be the key message.

It also promises to be a place for travellers to share advice on a range of issues, from the best routes to take when away to where to find organic food and even recommend the best eco-friendly hotels.

The site is constantly being added to and looks like it will grow into a great resource for all travellers. Nokia is supporting it with a neat little widget  that you can download to your Nok and helps you make more sustainable travel decisions.

Green Explorer is still in Beta stage, both as a site and as a widget but what we've seen of both, this is one campaign that no one can afford to ignore.
