Nokia has added support for Windows Live Hotmail as part of the release of Nokia Messaging 1.1, bringing together the world's most popular online email client with the world's most popular handsets.

It first claimed it would add support back in December when Nokia Messaging was still in early Beta stage. Now, an official release has confirmed that it is an integrated part of the app.

Nokia has added support for Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail to its email client, Nokia Messaging. It's available as a free download now.

Nokia Messaging is simple to install, setup and to use, and it will even allow you to add up to ten personal email accounts through the one Nokia interface.  What's more, once setup you can add new accounts either via your Nok or through the online client.

Nokia has also announced that from May, a full version of Nokia Messaging will be released to support the Nokia 5800 and future S60 5th Edition device, which means the Nokia N97 for the time being. This will make the 20th Nokia device compatible with the software.

It's worth noting that the Nokia E75 will ship with Nokia Messaging as standard and be the first Nok to do so from launch. You can pre-order your Nokia E75 now but no official launch date has been set.

Nokia Messaging is available as a free download and supports a host of other online clients, such as Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and AOL Mail, as well as support accounts from other email providers.
